The Mercedes Metris: A Small-Footprint Pop-TOp Camper Van.

As you hopefully know, in late 2023, Mercedes announced the end of US production for the Metris. While still being produced in Europe (and exported WW), the last US based Metris rolled off the production line in mid 2024. Peace Vans was lucky enough to obtain about 100 of the last Metris vans to build into campers and sell those. Sadly, for the small van loving public, those vans are sold out.
What to do you if you still want one of these unique and awesome vans? There’s a few things - all hope is not lost:
1) The last of the brand new 2023 vans are gone. We are still able to source high quality, low mileage used vans and we have very limited inventory to build these out. Reach out ASAP to learn about these opportunities. These vans tend to sell for $38-$45,000 and then the conversion costs.
2) Get on the used van list! These come up from time to time and we usually get you in a high quality, lower mile used van for a fair price.
Build time for these will be about 3 months from order to delivery. You will need to buy the van from us almost immediately FYI.
Full Camper
The Peace Vans Full Camper conversion is a Metris Passenger Van that seats five, sleeps four, and fits in a standard parking space. With kitchen amenities and lots of storage, this van is ready to camp for a weekend, road trip for a month, or simply take you around town as a daily driver.

The Peace Vans Weekender conversion starts as a Metris passenger van and ends as a compact-yet-comfortable ride that converts to a dreamy camp mobile with enough room to sleep four and comfortably seat 5. This Peace Vans conversion has plenty of storage space, making it the perfect camper van to hit the open road.
