Dream it.
We realize our Full Camper with only a 2 passenger configuration doesn’t work for many people. So we set out to create a Seat 4/Sleep 4 The new Weekender does just that - and makes for the absolute perfect weekend (or longer) camper escape.

Build it.
Simplicity, functionality and craftsmanship are always guiding principles at Peace Vans. For the Buzz Weekender, we focused on those elements - creating a very functional, elegant and complete solution to make a weekend of camping (or more!) easy, comfortable and seamless.

Specifics.
The Weekender for the ID. Buzz removes the middle row of seats (we can store them) and then installs a new floor and a custom designed center console that is a storage unit, holds a cleverly concealed table and has room for a fridge or a porta potty. When it’s time to sleep, simply fold down the third row, extend the sides of the console and unfurl the included comfy mattress. Swivel seats, a pop top and window shades complete the show! The Weekender starts at $11,995

Some Specifics.
Our pop top design will work with both the panoramic glass roof and the solid roof ID. Buzz vans (there is a $995 charge for the latter). Reservation fee is 50% of the $15,995 cost.
The pop top design closely mirrors our very successful Mercedes Metris pop tops with comfy sleeping for two, 3 windows and easy operation via hydraulic struts.
As an integrated top vs. a roof top tent (or similar), the impact to range will be small. Our experience (and wind tunnels) are clear that the addition of things on the roof, that allow airflow under, are the big impact to range. We chose to build an integrated top to mitigate this. Roof top tents are AWESOME, for sure, but they will impact your range.
The total height of the Buzz with the pop top is 79” and the sleeping area up top is 78” by 43”. Very comfy!
