Real places, real miles, and real moments from the road that proved EV travel was easier than many people expected.
Sedona, Arizona
We spent two nights dispersed camping outside Sedona, surrounded by red rocks and wide-open desert. We were the only EV in the area, and our camping neighbors were shocked we had made it there in an electric van.
Death Valley, California
While taking this photo, someone told us they were too nervous to bring their Tesla into Death Valley. Meanwhile, we stayed three nights, found a free charger at our first stop, and had easy overnight charging options too.
Highway 1, California
Highway 1 was one of the most beautiful drives of the trip — and one of the easiest. We drove from San Francisco to Santa Barbara, stayed a night along the way, and had no trouble at all enjoying the route in Sun Buzz.
A Camper Build Made for Adventure
Peace Vans transformed Sun Buzz into a camper built for real travel — thoughtful, functional and ready for everything from scenic overnights to long stretches on the road. This build made the 48-state journey possible.
This build gave us the freedom to travel more spontaneously and comfortably in our ID. Buzz. Now we can camp at places longer and functionally live inside it. It’s a setup built not just for getting somewhere, but for fully experiencing the road along the way.
