Whale Watching

Experience the breathtaking sight of majestic whales in their natural habitat—journey along scenic coastal roads in our meticulously maintained vans, leading you to a prime whale sighting spot, Magdalena Bay. Magdalena Bay is one of the few breeding locations for grey whales—every year, they journey from the north and come to this bay to have their babies. The bay provides plenty of protection from the elements and few predators to worry about. Over time, the whales have become very comfortable with the pangas that frequent the area. Our expert guides will share their knowledge of local marine life, ensuring an unforgettable and educational adventure. Let Peace Vans handle the logistics while you relax and witness these gentle giants in their captivating habitat.

Indulge in a truly exquisite culinary experience with Jordan and Carmen, showcasing their deep understanding of the local seafood and scene. From chef-prepared hand-smoked marlin to grilled oysters with miso butter, savor the diverse flavors of Baja's treasures. Unwind during group happy hours at sunset, where local wines, artisanal cocktails, and craft beers will be served.

A P.S. from our owner, Harley

“So, I love everything Peace Vans does—I mean, I kinda have to. But, honestly, these two-night guided trips will be incredible experiences and one of the best things we do this year. This is perfect if you want to do a Baja trip with us and six nights in the van feels too much, or you don’t want to travel solo. I just returned from a test run (November 2023) for one of the trips, and wow! I was blown away by the experiences your hosts, Jordan and Carmen, created. I couldn’t help but chime in here and give a push to take one of these trips.”
